Philosophy

Flowerthyme offers a "natural approach to flowers with an English garden flair." We differ from mainstream florists in our area by working with flowers that are seasonably fresh and different.

Our style and focus is to bring the spirit of the garden indoors. When you have flowers delivered from Flowerthyme you are commissioning not just flowers but a very aesthetic point of view. We understand that even though flowers are cut, they are living things to be admired and cared for in all stages of their lives. Tulips grow and bend with the light,
roses open and drop petals.

Our variety is known in our area because we work with only the best per season. We do not use carnations or mums. This is a preview of some of the seasonal blooms we use.

For Spring: parrot and French tulips, hyacinths, viburnum, flowering branches, hydrangeas, ranunculus, anemones, muscari acacia, unusual daffodils, lime green fujis, lilacs, lily of the valley, heather.

For Summer: zinneas, snapdragons, bee balm, dahlias, sunflowers,peonies, yarrow, hydrangeas, veronica, rudbeckia, larkspur, stock, lilies

For Autumn: hypericum berries, rose hips, dahlias, sunflowers, asters, fall foliage, sedum, cockscomb,butterfly weed, ornamental kale and peppers

For Winter: As the weather changes, flowers are imported from Holland and other parts of the globe, amaryllis, hydrangea, orchids, ginger and tropical flowers
